I have completed graduate and post-graduate coursework to ensure competency in these proven psychotherapy modalities:
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – 8-20 sessions
Most effective for depression, anxiety disorders, anger management, and stress management.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) – 2-8 sessions
Most effective for problem-solving, dealing with immediate concerns, and creating a plan to meet personal goals.
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) – Less than 20 sessions
Most effective for issues that stem from social difficulties, negative relationships, and interpersonal issues.
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) – 6-12 sessions
Most effective for couples experiencing emotional distance, distress, conflict, communication difficulties, issues with intimacy, and difficulty connecting.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Most effective for people struggling with motivation and/or addiction.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
Most effective for improving awareness, acceptance, and compassion; especially regarding distress caused by events that cannot be changed (i.e. health issues, ruminating thoughts, lack of emotional control, etc.)
Most effective for distress related to philosophical inquiry and existential concerns (i.e. mortality, death, meaning, purpose, freedom, and isolation).

Psychotherapy: $100 (Per 1 Hour Session)
Couples or Family Therapy: $120 (Per 1 Hour Session)
Payment is accepted by Credit Card, Cheque, or Cash.
Fees are often covered (at least in part) by an extended health benefits plan for counselling/therapy. Please check with your insurance provider/employer to confirm eligibility for reimbursement.
